Haven offers short-term, walk-in emergency housing for youth age 9-18 in need of a safe place to live. Haven provides 24/7 safe housing and basic needs support for youth who have experienced abuse, neglect, or human trafficking or those youth who have run away or need safe housing due to a variety of circumstances.
Haven is a caring and healing home, where children receive support and work on their future with the goal of family reunification. Haven counselors seek alternative, stable living arrangements when returning home is not the safest choice.
Center For Family Services Safe and Supportive Housing programs provide a continuum of care for youth needing a long-term safe place to live.
Haven provides:
- food, clothing, and medical services
- individual, group, parent, and family counseling
- advocacy
- life skills training
- educational and tutoring services
- drug and alcohol screenings
- recreational activities
- serving all genders
Skilled counselors help children establish goals and support them as they return to a more stable home environment.
Haven emergency shelter is an LGBTQIA+ affirming home.
