Our Services
For people who lost a loved one to homicide and/or have been impacted by gun violence
Emotional support, counseling, and education are available to guide individuals through a process of healing after experiencing gun violence and/or the loss of a loved one to homicide. Effective services provide a non-judgemental, safe environment through individual and group counseling, age-specific support groups, resiliency groups, professional and community workshops, and retreats.
For children impacted by substance use in the family
Services offer both individual and group counseling, resiliency groups, mentoring, retreats, and professional and community workshops for children and families who have experienced the death of a parent due to an overdose or who have experienced substance use in their family. Professionally licensed staff help young people develop resiliency and trust as they cope with the trauma they've experienced. Services are offered at office locations, in-home settings, and in community-based settings like schools and recovery centers.
For people who have experienced a traumatic event
Caring counselors provide comprehensive, multi-component support and recovery interventions following a traumatic event in schools, community programs, agencies serving youth, and businesses. Center For Family Services can provide on-site support and teach coping skills to help survivors manage their feelings and heal.
