Promoting Success provides in-home or in-community counseling and supportive services to families with children who have been impacted by mental illness or substance use disorder.

The Family Stabilization Program provides therapeutic counseling services with strength-based interventions and an emphasis on raising heathy, safe children who are ready to learn. This program addresses a family’s basic needs and offers comprehensive resources around parenting, coping, and life skills that can help families navigate major life transitions.

All services are free and also available in Spanish.

Life Skills provides adolescents, age 14-20, with the skills necessary to grow into successful, confident adults through professional counseling and vocational training. The 12-month program connects adolescents with counselors who provide hands-on, individualized life skills provided in-home, in-community, and on-site.

Life can get turned upside down when a parent or another family member struggles with addiction or when the family loses a loved one to an overdose.

The Traumatic Loss Coalition for Youth is an interactive, statewide network that offers collaboration and support to professionals working with school-age youth. The dual mission of the Traumatic Loss Coalition is excellence in suicide prevention and trauma response assistance to schools and youth organizations following unfortunate losses due to suicide, homicide, accident, and illness or traumatic events such as community violence.

The Family Outreach Program provides free, in-home support services for families with children up to 18 years old who are struggling to meet basic needs.

  • Active Parenting Groups
  • Advocacy
  • 24/7 on-call crisis support (as needed)

The Kinship Navigator program offers supportive services for caregivers who have taken on the responsibility of raising a child. Kinship Navigator offers services to grandparents, other relatives, and family friends providing support in connecting caregivers to the services that best support the child in their care. Kinship can also provide assistance to caregivers seeking to obtain legal guardianship through family court.

The Family Life Center supports positive family development and constructive parent-child interaction to promote family well-being and to reduce the risk of abuse and neglect in the household.  
 
Offering two levels of care, the Family Life Center provides the flexibility to address the needs of parents both compliant and non-compliant in their treatment plan.
