Women’s Referral Central - 800.322.8092 - provides statewide information and referral for women. Referrals are based on issues of concern to women in NJ including, but not limited to, abuse, legal or medical issues, and homelessness.

The purpose of the TAFCAR program is to prevent the abuse and neglect of children and to help families gain stability. TAFCAR provides intensive in-home education, counseling, case management, and support services in Camden and Gloucester Counties. Our staff works closely with the Department of Children and Families and the Division of Child Protection and Permanency to support positive family relationships. Parents are taught how to communicate with their children, how to solve problems, and how to manage their children's behavior.

Street Outreach is a street-based outreach program offering crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, and prevention services. Counselors work to help teens who are facing homelessness, have runaway or are couch-surfing find a safe and stable home. The program also provides education and public speaking workshops about high-risk behaviors to schools and other organizations.

The SASS program helps Camden County families develop a sense of security and higher level of self-assurance. Through SASS individuals learn the power of advocating for themselves. SASS encourages stronger families and healthier communities. SASS counselors provide support to families and teach the ways to:

RENU provides therapeutic and supportive visitation for parents with children up to 18 who are in placement through the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCPP). The visitation is in the presence of a mental health professional or specially trained professional who is actively involved in supporting attachment and behavior change in the parent-child relationship.

MST is a an evidence-based, 3-5 month intensive in home family counseling program that connects parents with the tools and resources needed to improve communication and strengthen the family unit. Counselors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide in home support to families.  Our goal is to keep children and families safe, and prevent out of home placement.

Focusing on ages 12-17.5 with behaviors at risk for out of home placement, MST counselors work in the home visiting families at least twice a week.  MST counselors work to:

Family Preservation Services (FPS) is an intensive, in-home, four- to eight-week crisis intervention program for families referred by the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P). The goal of Family Preservation Services is to prevent out-of-home placement and to promote stabilization and successful reunification. The program strives to keep families together through in-home counseling and support services. 

Counselors meet with families five days per week for up to eight weeks to educate and teach skills in:

Project FIRST A provides the support to strengthen and empower children and families. Through the program, we provide in-home individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, and intensive case management to children, age 21 or younger, and their families. The program is solution-focused and designed to bring families together.

Family Link - Family Crisis Intervention Unit (FCIU) supports children and their families helping to resolve family problems before they escalate to a crisis or the point of court involvement. The program provides immediate, year-round, 24/7 crisis response and intervention services to children and their families.
