Michele Eichorn, Chief Operating Officer, has a twenty-year history as both a licensed psychotherapist as well as an administrator.
Over the past two decades, Ms. Eichorn has become recognized as a forward-thinking leader and is well-known for driving change initiatives including implementing the first wave of value-based reimbursement, DSRIP Project, at Trinitas Regional Medical Center and starting one of the first community-based, medication assisted treatment (MAT) programs in Northwest, NJ.
In 2018, Michele became the Executive Director of the Family Guidance Center of Warren County (FGCWC). During her tenure as Executive Director, the organization became recognized across the state as an innovative agency.
In 2023, Ms. Eichorn facilitated a merger between the Family Guidance Center of Warren County and Center for Family Services. Following the merger, she joined Center for Family Services as a Chief Operating Officer. Part of the executive team, Ms. Eichorn oversees the day-to-day administrative and operational functions for the organization’s Northern Region programs.
Michele was appointed by Governor Murphy in 2022 and elected as chairperson (FY 2022-23) of the New Jersey State Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, which is the governing body that oversees licensure for all LPCs, LCADC/CADCs and MFTs in the state of New Jersey. Additionally, Michele received the Lester Z. Lieberman “Humanism in Healthcare Award” from the Healthcare Foundation of NJ and is featured in the Edge Magazine article entitled, “Now In My Backyard: Tales from the Front Lines of New Jersey’s Heroin Epidemic.”
Michele is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LCADC) and a Certified Mental Health Screener in NJ. Ms. Eichorn obtained a Master’s Degree of Social Work (MSW) from Columbia University in 2004 and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) Degree from Rutgers University in 2022.
