Your help is needed to make sure a teen has a sensible means to transport their belongings. Your donation of a new duffle bag will ease a child's transition from emergency housing to a long-term home.
Make a donation or lead a collection of brand-new, high quality overnight duffle bags. Expandable, collapsible duffle bags work best, because they are stackable and can be easily stored until needed.
Your support will make it possible for a child to easily transport their personal belongings as they transition back to their families or to another caring home. With your help, you can be the one to make sure a child does not have to transport their personal items in a plastic bag.
Each year, more than 800 children and teens find temporary safe housing at Center For Family Services. During their stay at one of our safe homes, children are provided with a stable foundation that allows them to heal, grow, and experience joy. Services help to instill confidence and self-worth in children and teens, empowering them to pave their path to a better life and brighter future. Family reunification is always our primary goal and whenever possible we support children and teens in transitioning back home. When this is not possible, we support children and teens in transitioning to another caring home.
