Last week, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority approved tax incentives for another company through the Economic Opportunity Act. IPAK is the latest company to relocate to the City of Camden, after receiving $17.1 million in tax incentives over 10 years.

IPAK, currently located in West Deptford, is a fast-growing business that specializes in the production of highly differentiated sales, marketing, and educational tools. The firm provides printing, packaging, technology, and video solutions to companies in a wide range of sectors that includes education, entertainment, healthcare, and the governmental sectors.

As noted by Mayor Dana L. Redd at Friday’s EDA meeting, IPAK’s move to Camden makes great sense because one-third of its current workforce is from Camden. Expressing excitement over the new partnership with IPAK, Mayor Redd said, “As IPAK expands, they have committed to hiring more qualified Camden residents. I look forward to working with IPAK to ensure a successful and bright future for them and our residents.”

IPAK President and CEO Karen Primak shared the same level of enthusiasm, in which she stated that IPAK is proud to be a part of Camden’s revival. With IPAK moving its business operations to Camden, more employment opportunities will become available for residents. Describing the relocation as a win-win for Camden and IPAK, Primak is dedicated to building a strong relationship with the city, in which she said “After participating in the City’s Job Fair two weeks ago and meeting with a vast number of Camden applicants, I am sure that IPAK, the City, and its residents will have a bright future together.”
