Public Relations and Development Coordinator

 

Program:              Public Relations and Development Division

Location:              Camden, NJ

Status:                   Full-time

Hours:                   9am-5pm Monday-Friday with some evenings and weekends

Travel:                   Up to 25% local travel

Description:         To support the Development and Public Relations department in creating and maintaining a broad program designed to heighten community awareness, promote agency fundraising activities, and coordinate volunteers. 

Focus will be on all aspects of non- profit media relations, including developing and pitching story ideas, writing website and brochure copy, and generating publicity for special events.

Requirements:

      • Bachelor's degree in related field
      • 1-2 years related experience preferred
      • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
      • Strong writing, speaking, and organizational skills
      • Candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office

      • Familiarity with design programs such as Quark or In Design preferred

      • Vehicle with valid driver's license, insurance, and registration
      • A good driving record of at least three years
